State-of-the-art technology ensures air-conditioned and filtered room air free from bacteria, pollen and fine dust. Each hotel room has a room thermostat with touch display to control individual requirements. As COOL MAMA also strives for “100 per cent functionality” here, the concept is designed without compromise. The room ventilation is dimensioned in such a way that it is neither necessary nor possible to open the windows. 

The air exchange of an entire room can therefore be guaranteed per hour during normal operation! With our Airfresh booster, you can temporarily carry out the entire air exchange of a room in 15 minutes (due to the high output, a noise level of 57 DB is briefly generated when the booster is activated).  

The fixed glazing serves in particular to prevent contaminated air from entering the interior.

The COOL MAMA Hotel Salzburg is located on the A1 motorway within walking distance of the Salzburg Exhibition Centre and the “Salzburgarena” event hall, approx. 4 km outside the city centre and there­fore offers an ideal location for business guests and trade fair exhibitors or visitors. But city travellers also appreciate our offer to leave their car in our own 180 parking spaces and explore Salzburg without a complicated search for a parking space: The city centre can be easily reached in just a few minutes by public transport or taxi. Sports enthusiasts have the option of walking along the Salzach (river) into the old town or using this path or the area around the Salzach lakes for a run to work off some energy. ­Reception is staffed around the clock and is happy to provide information and advice.

We have a total of around 180 parking spaces directly on the hotel grounds, which are available to our guests. For hotel guests, we charge a small fee of € 5.00 per night for parking; advance reservation of parking spaces is not required. In addition to the outdoor parking spaces, a large, bright underground car park with two levels is available to guests (at the same price). This offers a spacious and clearly laid out entrance and exit as well as direct underground hotel access.

All our hotel rooms have an area of at least 25m² and are equipped with a Nespresso® coffee machine, rain shower with LED lighting, 55-inch TV including Sky® TV (all packages), ambient lighting and Rituals® brand care products. The pleasant room acoustics, the real wood flooring and the large panoramic windows create a bright and spacious feeling of space and a cosy atmosphere. Free WLAN is of course available in all rooms. If you book the “Executive” room category, there is also a free-standing bathtub right next to the window.

The Sky Restaurant on the 15th floor offers first-class cuisine and a unique and impressive view over the city including Hohensalzburg Fortress and the surrounding area with the Gaisberg, Untersberg, Tennengebirge and Hagengebirge mountains. “Homemade” is a top priority in our kitchen and we attach great importance to quality and attention to detail. The rich breakfast buffet is also served daily on the top floor and our guests can experience and enjoy the sunrise or the different weather conditions during breakfast at a height of approx. 50 metres.

In the summer months, weather permitting, we open our Sky Terrace (rooftop) in the evening from 5:30 pm. End your day with a relaxed dinner and cool sounds in a special setting and admire the beautiful sunsets on the horizon up close. A private panoramic lift with a view outside takes you directly to the 16th floor.

The two newly equipped conference rooms on the ground floor can be used individually or as a large, connected room and offer daylight and a view of the green park. Professional support, ­high-quality ­seminar catering and WMF® coffee machines directly in the seminar room create a pleasant and ­positive working atmosphere.

The Jägerstube on the 14th floor with its fireplace and view of the Hohen Salzburg Fortress is open on special occasions. This warm and inviting room can also be used and exclusively booked for individual events, such as company or Christmas parties for groups of up to 95 people.

Take advantage of our fitness room on the 1st floor, which is equipped with modern Technogym® ­equipment and is open 24/7 for overnight guests, for example to clear your head after a hard day‘s work.
